Do you have a thriving practice providing adult care but would like to support families and kids too?
Are you passionate about children’s health but feel lost and confused about how to guide parents in raising healthy kids?
Do you internally cringe when a patient asks you to see their child because you don’t believe you have the proper training or community to lean on for support?
If so, this training is for you!
It’s frustrating to watch kids suffer with health issues that no one seems to understand or know how to properly address. The good news is that there IS a better way—an approach that gets real answers and lasting results.
Dr. Z wants to invite you into our compassionate community of like-minded practitioners who have discovered the life-changing power of applying functional medicine to pediatric care.
In this comprehensive pediatrics training with renowned clinician Dr. Z, you'll discover exactly how to confidently integrate functional medicine into your practice to profoundly improve the lives of children.
Dr. Z and her team will guide you step-by-step in understanding the most common health challenges that different pediatric age groups face, how to support them through a functional medicine lens, and even how to market to the correct audience to build a pediatric practice.
By the end of this in-depth training, you'll feel equipped, energized, and inspired to help the children in your community who aren’t getting answers from conventional medicine.
The reality is that pediatric services will always be needed in the health community.
There will always be children who are suffering and in need of help in the healthcare world.
Parents are doing their best, but they are not sure where to go for help, and the plethora of information on the internet in regards to child care is often inaccurate or hypothetical.
It’s hard to find an expert who can give accurate and customized care to each child. You can be that person! You can be the clear and confident voice for parents who have information overload from relatives, friends, influencers, and even Dr. Google telling them about all the “right” ways to raise a healthy child. You can be the practitioner who helps kids and parents find hope.
If you want to open up a niche in your practice that can SIGNIFICANTLY change lives, then this is where to start!

She is the creator of the LabDX software which has revolutionized Functional Medicine lab analysis and is the first of its kind worldwide.
Dr. Z will tell you she’s not a fan of sales, despite outselling Disney in their own park with the only non-Disney item, generating $150k+ in sales from the stage at a single speaking event and creating $250k+ in cash sales during the first year of a debt-free startup business. She then repeated that during the first year of her Functional Medicine practice with only 7 hours per week of nutrition visits. And then she repeated it yet again, this time during the period when the “world stood still” and many colleagues went under…let’s just say Dr. Z knows how to build a successful business in ANY environment!
It is precisely her “non-salesy”, high integrity, very efficient, patient-centered, “let’s keep this simple and be profitable” attitude that has made her a sought-after trainer for Functional Medicine practitioners.

RD
She was "that" kid. The one who would get uncontrollably hyper from eating food dye. The one who constantly had a runny nose, itchy eyes, and some sort of skin rash just from sitting in the grass. The one who was irritable and angry towards other kids. The one who had to read nutrition labels before asking to have any snack or treat. Her food and eating experience was something she had to learn how to navigate very early and it significantly impacted her quality of life. She grew up in a family of chiropractors and her parents supported her holistically through all of her health challenges. They encouraged her to take responsibility and be proactive about her health instead of being a victim of it.
She accomplished that by learning about food, nutrition, and her personal health needs. She eventually turned it into a career and graduated from UC Davis in 2010 with her bachelor's in Clinical Nutrition. She got into nutrition because of children. She wants children around the world to be free of disease and have plenty of healthy food.
She wants moms and dads to feel hopeful and empowered to help lead their children to achieve better health with simple, everyday choices. Her childhood taught her that health is invaluable and even if you aren’t born with it, there is always hope.

Ever since my childhood, a deep-rooted desire to be a healer and an inherent interest in holistic healing have been driving forces in my life. In 2019, I proudly graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Kansas School of Nursing. My nursing journey commenced in the dynamic environment of the cardiac care unit, and I later transitioned into travel nursing, gaining invaluable experiences across various acute-care settings such as PCU, orthopedics, float pool, and oncology.
While grateful for the insights that acute care nursing brought, each day at work served as a reminder of the untapped potential to do more for my patients. Throughout my life, I've been unwaveringly passionate about an integrative and holistic approach to healing, firmly believing that a mind-body approach is the foundation of authentic well-being.
It was this conviction that led me to Dr. Z's Functional Medicine Academy (FMA), where I am proud to currently serve on the clinical and member success team as a member success advisor. In this role, I am committed to contributing to a paradigm of healthcare that aligns with my belief in comprehensive and individualized approaches to healing. My journey in functional medicine is not just a career path but a continuation of my lifelong commitment to facilitating true healing journeys for those in need.
